Technical Services Engineer - Nationwide - £65,000-£75,000

Our client is currently looking for an experience Technical Services Engineer to oversee a large contract of Manufacturing and industrial clients throughout the UK. You will have a strong technical background and similar background overseeing a large number of sites.


  • Responsible for overseeing the management and delivery of internal projects such as equipment upgrades and technical research and development, in keeping with HSE regulations.

  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing organisational technical processes from start to finish.

  • Overseeing quality control and management systems and ensuring all projects outgoing are quality control checked and accurate to the order.

  • Ensuring the brief from the design and sales team is clear and refining specifications as needed to ensure it is production ready.

  • Budget co-ordination and reporting including contractor and vendor management.

  • People management, ensuring performance reviews and appraisals are up to date and coaching and mentoring employees.

  • Facilitate, train, and coach team members in the use of Lean Six Sigma; Yellow/Green Belt


  • Minimum of five years’ experience working in a technical reliability role or similar, in an industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Multi skilled engineering background

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of maintenance processes and tools used to analyse and manage asset reliability.

  • Ability to read, understand and sketch technical drawings (machine and process) and literature to gather or present relevant work order information.

  • Very strong analytical skills with proven ability to break down and solve complex problems in a logical and structured approach

  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills

  • Ability to work to own initiative and as part of a team with minimal supervision

  • Robust and assertive attitude towards achieving results and motivating team members

  • High customer focus
