Since its launch more than 25 years ago, i-FM has consistently strived to be the most accurate, focused, reliable and helpful source of information and insight on the UK facilities management market. We have always said – ‘if you are in FM, you need to be on i-FM’. That is now more true than ever.
The introduction of our unique AI assistant – Ai-FM – opens a whole new landscape of opportunity for site users, putting 25+ years of information, research, opinion and analysis at their fingertips.
We have always believed that an important part of our role is to be helpful, advising on issues, challenges, trends and opportunities in this big, dynamic and often confusing market. The power behind that has now grown exponentially. Ai-FM drives through the content of the site, selecting the information most relevant to a query or request, and reporting back with the essential points and insights. It also advises on how to find more information, where a user wants to dig deeper. And of course, users can refine their questions if they wish to narrow down the focus to a particular topic or theme.
And like all AI assistants, Ai-FM is always learning. We welcome user feedback that might be helpful in making the experience even better.
A bit more information that might be helpful. If you use some of the ‘big name’ AI platforms, you will find that Ai-FM is not as fast. That’s because we are not using 100s (or even 1000s!) of servers to deliver results. Our platform runs on our own server – so great news for our carbon footprint - and for yours.
Ai-FM searches, interprets and reports back on our data – 25+ years of news, comment, analysis and insight. That sort of knowledge is not available from any other UK FM publication.
We know our content thoroughly, of course, and we’re always happy to assist you in finding the information you want. You can contact us anytime on info@i-FM.net. And finally, all the basic site search functions remain in place (here and on the content summary pages): there may be times, if you are looking for something quite specific, when they will do the job you have in mind.
