EuroTelecom wins £1.75m FM contract with Jarvis

Jarvis has awarded a seven year, £1.75m facilities management contract to EuroTelecom Communications for IT and telecommunications services at the Army Foundation College in Harrogate.

EuroTelecom said that in addition to providing services under the Jarvis deal, which could be extended to up to 30 years, its on-site team will also procure telephony and IT hardware.

AIM listed EuroTelecom supplies 'application linking' technology used to create the communications backbone for intelligent buildings. The college site is a new training campus being built on the site of a former Army training establishment. The facility will accommodate 1,400 students for 12-month academic courses, many of which are IT based.

Phil Derry, EuroTelecom's Chief Executive said: "We are delighted to have secured this long-term contract with Jarvis, one of the UK's leading facilities management companies. We expect EuroTelecom's involvement with Jarvis and the Army Foundation College to develop in both size and breadth as the project progresses."
