i-FM launches e-business Award

i-FM is launching an Award for companies and organisations which are exploiting new technologies, particularly the internet, to improve business processes and performance.

The i-FM e-business Award is not just another website design award (although websites are certainly included) but covers the whole range of ‘e’ initiatives, including company intranets and customer extranets, e-procurement, desktop services, online PR and marketing campaigns, project websites, online benchmarking and other information services.

The Award will be judged by i-FM editor Richard Byatt and PFM’s editor Jane Fenwick and presented at the PFM Partnership Awards Dinner on the 8th November 2001.

“Now that the hype surrounding e-commerce has subsided, the focus has switched to the tangible and enduring business benefits to be gained from new information and communication technologies,” says i-FM’s editor Richard Byatt. “I believe these technologies have tremendous potential in the facilities management arena. We have created the i-FM e-business Award to recognise those working on innovative applications.”

The closing date for entries is 1st June 2001 – click here for full details and online entry form
