Citex signs agreement with Brixton Estate

Citex has expanded its relationship with Brixton Estate through an agreement to supply project management, planning supervision, quality control and quantity surveying services.

The three year agreement will see Citex as the lead project manager for Brixton’s new build industrial and office development schemes as well as the provider of quantity surveying services for approximately 50% of the development programme. Construction is expected to cost over £30m per year.

Chris Dumas, managing director of Citex Project Delivery said: “This agreement recognises and reaffirms the close relationship between Citex and Brixton - we are delighted that our long-standing working partnership has stood us in good stead. We remain absolutely committed to developing and improving our service standards and people, conscious that these are the major factors in this type of agreement.”

Brixton Investments’ senior director responsible for projects Chris Sheedy said: “I am very pleased that we have formalised this agreement with Citex. We know that they will be providing high levels of innovation and cost effective solutions together with the exemplary staffing that we have come to expect from our special relationship”.

Steve Lee, one of Citex’s board directors is to join Brixton as head of the customer services and contracts management team which provides a range of offerings to tenants (see News story).
