This exciting role will be to act as Project
Manager, as an implant to help
with the feasibility study of moving one of their major food manufacturing
sites from one location to another. The
new site if they proceed with the project will be within the UK. If the project goes ahead you will need to provide
both support and expertise, identifying opportunities for the core steering
team, including procurement, IT, quality, technical and human resources. A
huge part of the role will be your ability to co-ordinate the various elements
of the project to ensure that it is delivered on time and in budget.
Your
particular skills will also need to fall within the strategic planning, costing,
contractor procurement and large-scale migration execution. A strong Health
& Safety background and awareness of current legislation and compliance is
of course also required as is a qualification within Project Management itself.
It is going
to be absolutely critical that you have the balance of the combination of high
level project management skills with the mix of industry experience of dealing
with similar projects in a similar blue collar food manufacturing environment.
In return you
will receive a salary circa £70,000 - £80,000 basic + bonus potential. This
role is a perfect opportunity for an experienced immediately available project
management expert to join a highly successful specialist manufacturing
business.
