Facilities Manager - Uxbridge

Our client is a leading Real Estate firm with offices across the world. They are currently seeking a FACILITIES MANAGER to join their expanding team in Middlesex. Based near Uxbridge, the successful Facilities Manager will be responsible for the provision of facilities services across a portfolio of multi-tenanted office buildings in Middlesex and Surrey. Reporting into a regional facilities manager you will be responsible for building relationships with the property managers as well as regularly liaising with all occupiers. Other Duties will include: * Management of a number of hard and soft services contractors across the sites monitoring their performance against agreed standards. * Management of two direct reports * Maintenance, testing and implementation of disaster planning procedures to cover all emergencies. * Organising and co-ordinating fire evacuation and bomb drills. * Ensuring adequate provision is made for emergency and out of hours cover using the Customer Service Help Desk. * Identifing and arranging any minor works with the property manager ensuring minimum obstruction. * Assisting the property management teams in the financial management of the property through the preparation of service charge budgets, the monitoring of agreed budgets to pre-defined cash limits, quarterly variance reporting and service charge reconciliation to agreed accounting practices. Successful candidates will have at least 5 years experience gained as a Facilities Manager preferably looking after a portfolio of properties. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and IT skills. Experience in the managing service charge budgets and management of Hard and soft services contracts is essential. Membership of the BIFM and a health and safety qualification is advantageous. In return our client is offering a competitive salary of £33,000-35,000 plus benefits.
