Aspect Capital Limited (“Aspect”) is a London-based investment manager. Aspect applies an entirely systematic and quantitative approach to investment management, with the aim of generating high-quality and diversifying alpha for its clients' portfolios. The company currently manages USD6.0billion, which is exclusively invested in the Aspect Diversified Programme (and a range of modified implementations) via a series of fund and client-specific managed account vehicles. Job Specification The role is primarily responsible for effectively and efficiently providing services to a 24,000 sq ft office supporting 140 staff in central London. Aspect has three other small offices which you will also be responsible for. This challenging opportunity is best suited to someone who is comfortable operating in both a strategic and project capacity as well as being “hands on” involved in the day-to-day activities of supporting the business.
Accountabilities
• To act as the point of contact for employees, contractors and building management in relation to all office and facilities issues and queries.
• To oversee all lease, rates and service charge issues at all locations.
• To ensure all locations are run in a safe and cost effective manager and to become the main point of contact for Health and Safety.
• To take full responsibility for Health and Safety training of all employees and maintaining records across all sites;
• To liaise with the Building Management at all sites;
• To oversee all space planning and internal office moves; and
• To be responsible for managing the facilities budget. Requirements
• The role calls for an experienced Facilities Manager
• Exceptional inter-personal skills, both verbal and written communication skills are vital to work with the firm's demanding environment;
• A hands-on approach;
• A desire to get the job done with attention to detail; ability to work under pressure; and
• Maturity and confidence to deal with difficult situations.
• A facilities management qualification (i.e. BIFM)
• Be fully conversant with statutory requirements, including EC Directives, relating to an office environment.
Person Specification
This is a varied post in a corporate environment successful candidate must possess a proven track record within a similar environment. You will be a strong leader with developed team building skills with the ability to lead internal staff and outsourced providers. You will possess significant project management ability, be skilled in customer relationship management with strong contract management ability. This post will suit FM professionals from a comparable environment.
