Overview
Our client is an NHS trust who requires an Interim Estate Manager for c. 6months to manage the delivery of contracted services for capital and maintenance, compliance and estates management through outsourced services providers. You will be responsible for day to day management, review, development, implementation of service contracts alongside providing support to the Asset Manager on long term estates planning.
Main Responsibilities
Scope of services to include:
1. Estates Services
o Routine Maintenance and Repair Service
o Out of Hours Emergency Service
o Planned Preventative Maintenance
o Statutory Insurance Examinations
o Minor Works o General Site Services
o Waste Management
o Window cleaning
o Grounds and gardens
2. Capital Planning and Project Management
3. Estates Information and Compliance
o Utilities/Energy Management
o Environmental
o Estates Information Management
4. Property Management - Leases and Licences
Person Specification
The successful candidate will be ideally be educated to degree level in a hard services related discipline such as engineering, building surveying and hold membership of a relevant body (BIFM, RICS, CIBSE, CIOB. You will have worked within healthcare or related environment previously (i.e. University, private healthcare, pharma) and possess strong contract and budget management ability. This is a post that will commence immediately and will allow the individual to undertake an autonomous role within an organisation undertaking a period of change where the Interim Estates Manager will have a significant impact on their future strategic direction.
