Industry news: update

Comax, a leading business process outsourcer, has won a contract with United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority just days after completing its sale to Amey Plc.
The five-year contract worth £4 million is for the provision of emergency, reception and messenger services and is based at UKAEA's site at Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Drake and Scull has won a major contract through the Mercia Healthcare Ltd concession on the Wythenshawe Hospital PFI deal.
Mercia, established by WS Atkins, Alfred McAlpine, Gardner Merchant and Charterhouse Project Equity Investments, was awarded the 30-year PFI contract in August last year. Drake and Scull have recently won the commission for design and construction of the M&E and public health services in the mental health unit.

Trigon FM has had their contract renewed by Ernst & Young for a further 5 years beginning this November. Trigon's deal with Ernst & Young covers front-of-house non-core services in the London estate.
