Johnson Controls extends partnership with CSC

Johnson Controls’ Integrated Facility Management UK division has extended its international contract with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), reinforcing their global presence.

The addition will incorporate the UK portfolio within Johnson Controls and CSC’s existing relationship, which currently spans North America, Denmark and Holland. Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will outsource 42 staff to Johnson Controls and relinquish management of some 35 properties.

Under the five-year global contract, Johnson Controls said it aims to "reduce CSC’s total cost of occupancy, guaranteeing savings as part of the deal and improving facility operations." The company will deliver building maintenance, security, energy management, catering and reception services at CSC-controlled facilities. Workplace performance, benchmarking and financial assessments will be completed across CSC operations world-wide.

"Providing CSC with our full scope of integrated facility management services is an exciting opportunity for Johnson Controls. This strategic partnership will help integrate CSC’s facility management functions world-wide. Streamlining processes and service delivery will contribute to significant productivity and performance gains, allowing CSC to concentrate on its core competencies," said Don Kenny, Managing Director of Johnson Controls, Integrated Facility Management UK.
