Tilbury Douglas has been chosen as preferred bidder to become
one of four Tier One Suppliers providing construction services to BT throughout
the UK.
From this month the Tilbury Douglas team will gradually take over part
of BT's £180m per annum construction workload. Tilbury Douglas expects
the contract to be worth £45m a year over a five-year period.
Tilbury Douglas says it will provide speed to market, predictability of
outcome and add value by working closely with BT. It says the contract
represents an important stage for the company in realising its strategy
of providing long-term service to 'Blue Chip' customers.
