Industry update: new contract, top awards

Coflex has been selected to provide a broad range of facilities services, subject to final agreement of the contract, for Lloyd's of London. The two have worked together over the past 12 months developing a strategic approach to London and Chatham properties. Coflex will take on responsibility for maintenance, cleaning, security and reception, as well as project management, energy management and space management.

Award-winning participants in this year's WorkPlace exhibition have been announced:

BDG McColl has won the ÔMost Innovative' award for its stand built around the theme of trust and alienation.

Samas Systems Furniture was named ÔBest Stand', with the judges citing a refreshing use of space.

'Best New Product' was awarded jointly to Humanscale for its Freedom chair and Colebrook Bosson Saunders for its flat screen wishbone and clam stacking system.
