PFM announces winners in 6th annual Partnership Awards

Winners of the 1999 Premises & Facilities Management Partnership Awards were announced to an invited audience of 400 in London on Wednesday night.

Top honours went to designers Tilney Shane with British Airways World Cargo. This team won both the Working Environment category and the overall Partnership Award.

PFM's award scheme recognises excellence in facilities management and support services. It acknowledges that most successful projects are collaborative, as consultants, contractors and suppliers work closely with clients. Each entry, judged by a panel of six people with wide FM experience, was scored for achievement, innovation and partnership quality.

The category winners were:

Single Service: TNT Mail Services with CrestCo

Multi-Service: MacLellan with Ford India

Facilities Management: BA FM Team with British Airways

Public Sector: Haden Building Management with Gateshead College

Relocation: Harrow Green Group with The British Library

Working Environment: Tilney Shane with British Airways World Cargo

A new Marketing category this year, for the best integrated promotional campaign, was won by Interserve.
