Property,
land and construction consultancy WSP, has appointed Carl Tonks as associate
with WSP Development Ltd. Based in the company’s Bristol office,
Tonks will be responsible for establishing and growing WSP Development’s
presence in the Bristol area.
He joined the Group from Pinnacle Transportation Ltd’s Bristol Office,
which he joined at inception as Principal Engineer. Prior to Pinnacle,
Tonks worked for Ove Arup and Partners, also in Bristol. He has experience
of transportation engineering consultancy throughout the UK, with particular
expertise in private sector development and urban regeneration.
Commenting on his new position, Tonks said: "There is an active and
growing development market in the South West and it is our aim to provide
for the needs of developers, town planners and architects to facilitate
commercial, residential, leisure and employment development across the
region. I very much look forward to establishing WSP Development as a
major player within this market."
