AMEC has retained and expanded its contract with the NEC.
In addition to the main exhibition complex, AMEC will now provide services
to the International Conference Centre and the National Indoor Arena under
a five-year contract with a two-year renewal option. The contract, which
commences in July, is valued at £3.7m per annum and covers an area
of 255,000 sq/m.

AMEC won the work in competition with six major facilities management companies. Mike Bradley, Contract Manager heading the AMEC team at the NEC commented: "We were awarded this prestigious contract on three main criteria: flexibility, understanding the customer’s business and innovation. We were thrilled to be awarded the contract for the maintenance of M&E services at the NEC and also fabric services to the ICC and the NIA.
