Rutland launches FM business

Rutland Property Solutions, based in Edinburgh, has launched a facilities management business. Sara Sullivan (pictured), who has joined Rutland from Chesterton plc, is heading the business.

Rutland Facilities Management, part of Rutland Property Solutions, is aimed primarily at the office and industrial sectors, and delivers hard and soft services, from building maintenance to traditional office services. These are supported by other disciplines including procurement, help desk operations and management accounting.

Ken Thomson, founder and Managing Director of Rutland, says: "We now have the capability to design, build, finance, operate and maintain property on our clients’ behalf, thereby achieving our primary objective of delivering PFI solutions to the private sector."

Rutland Property Solutions was founded two years ago and operates across Scotland, with a turnover of £7.5m annually.
