ISS UK has acquired Ideal Commercial & Industrial Services Limited, a leading provider of cleaning services in the North and Midland regions of England. The acquisition takes place with immediate effect.

Ideal, established in 1964, has 2,444 employees, turnover of approximately £12.5 million and an operating profit margin in excess of the Group's 6% goal.

The acquisition substantially strengthens ISS's position in the Midlands and the North, enabling the company to service customers more effectively on a national basis. In addition to general cleaning services, Ideal also provides workwear and washroom services, industrial and window cleaning. Key customers include a national food retailer.
