News: Select wins five year PRO contract

Select Facilities Services has been awarded a five year facilities management contract with the Public Record Office in Kew, worth £8m. Services will include portering, window cleaning, help desk, grounds and garden maintenance, internal planting, mailroom services and engineering work.

Su Taylor, regional manager for the Southern region at Select commented: “One of the particular challenges of this contract is the fact that we have to maintain the correct environment for these items. Documents for example have to be stored in specific temperature and humidity conditions.

“We were delighted to have been awarded this contract. It adds to our already prestigious client list which includes the Legal and General and BBC Scotland and Wales.”
