ISS continues growth by acquisition

ISS has added another six companies to its lengthening list of acquisitions. So far this year the ambitious Danish service provider has bought 12 companies, one in damage control and eleven in facility services boosting turnover by approximately £43m and adding over 2000 employees to its headcount.

The latest purchases are: Städsystem Syd AB, a cleaning provider in the southern region of Sweden with 500 staff and turnover of around £5m; Riddarstaden AB, a small Stockholm-based property management, operation and maintenance company; 60% of the Hong Kong based Man Yuen Engineering Company Ltd; specialist waste and water services provider Turbo Services Ltd. also in Hong Kong; specialist ventilation systems maintenance firm Topventil SA of Switzerland; and the Norwegian marine cleaning company Vest Korrosjon AS.
