Summit and AMEC make key appointments

Summit Support Services has made two appointments to broaden its service offering and exploit wider market opportunities. Tony Angel joins Summit as Operations Director from WSP and prior to that Chesterton Workplace Management. Technical Services Consultant Rob Jerrard, previously with Sulzer, is the first technical appointment at Summit.

MD David Wilson now has a 13-strong team and sees substantial growth in prospect. The division has turnover of £1m and Wilson is looking to double fee income. Summit has just been appointed to assist Cable & Wireless with its UK facilities outsourcing initiative.

l AMEC facilities has appointed Calvin Dobinson as business development manager. He was previously a divisional manager for Rosser & Russell and prior to that operations manager at Integral for seven years. In both roles, Calvin was looking after the manned site divisions. He has been in the service industry for over 20 years.
