Pearson Business Services, part of Pearson plc - owners of the FT, has appointed M&E specialists TML to carry out service and maintenance of its four storey offices in Welwyn Garden City. The £45,000 contract includes maintenance of air conditioning, heating and ventilation systems, as well as other mechanical equipment, including chillers, pressurisation units and air handling plants.

Consultants Hilson Moran introduced TML, part of the OCS Group, to Pearson Business Services and they went on to win the contract, due to run initially for one year, in competitive tender. According to John Moore, Facilities Manager at Pearson Business Services, it was awarded to TML because they were able to cover the whole spectrum of building maintenance.
