A new European
outsourcing company, created from FM company Trigon and the European Corporate
Services team of FPDSavills with the backing of US giant the Trammell
Crow Company, is formally launched on Tuesday.
The deal which formed the new company, Trammell Crow Savills, was announced
in May (see News story) and completed
this month, following an extraordinary meeting of Savills shareholders.

"Trammell Crow Savills will respond to the global needs of today's multinational companies," said Ed Lyons, the newly appointed CEO. "We will deliver services across the property lifecycle including facilities management, project management, transaction management and real estate outsourcing solutions."

Trammell Crow Savills has already moved to meet demand for integrated
services in one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy. A new Technology
Media Telecoms division, headed by Mark Peach, offers non-core support
services and property transactions and already counts Cisco, Unisys, Advantag-e,
Getronics and City Reach International among its clients.
