BRE seminar on monitoring and management

BRE is to run a one-day seminar bringing together national monitoring experts from a range of disciplines. Monitoring: why do it? to be held on Thursday 1st February will provide up-to-the-minute information on recent advances in monitoring techniques and technologies and how these can be effectively deployed in building management.

Seminar topics will include:

  • Maintaining standards of performance, safety and serviceability
  • Heritage conservation
  • Assessing and managing materials degradation or corrosion
  • Observing the effects of nearby construction or tunnelling works
  • Improving the indoor environment of your building

The event will also includes a session from an end user on the real benefits of adopting a monitoring programme and demonstrations of a range of state-of-the-art equipment.
