Jones Lang LaSalle Expands opens in Buenos Aires

Jones Lang LaSalle has strengthened its presence in South America with the opening of a new, full-service office in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Services include property and facility management, project management, tenant representation, agency leasing, valuation, consulting and capital markets services.

"This new office allows Jones Lang LaSalle to lead the way as the only full service real estate service provider in Argentina and the largest facility manager in Buenos Aires," said Earl E. Webb, Chief Executive Officer of the Americas. "With these expanded capabilities, we will be able to provide integrated real estate services to our multinational clients who are rapidly expanding into South America."

The firm first established a presence in Argentina in 1999, when it was awarded a major facility management contract with HSBC Bank in Buenos Aires. The new office expands the firm's market presence in North and South America to five countries across 34 markets. The office currently has 20 full time employees and expects to hire 10 more this month. The firm also serves its clients in Latin America with offices in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in Brazil and Mexico City.

Marcello Madrugga will lead the Corporate Property Services business. He relocated from Sao Paulo last year when the firm secured the HSBC facilities portfolio.
