A consortium led by Tilbury Douglas has been named preferred
bidder for the Hattersley Schools PFI contract for Tameside Metropolitan
Borough Council, which is expected to have a whole life net present
value of £80m.
The company is to design and build three new schools and provide the
support services for 25 years, in addition to an equity involvement.
It will also provide all construction, engineering and support services.
Tilbury Douglas recently acquired Building & Property for £74.8m
(see News story).
