A newly published compendium provides an overview of facilities management issues as well as in-depth guidance on essential FM topics, from property strategy to workplace design.
Facilities Manager UK 2001 is published by Atalink, in association with i-FM, on the web and in hard copy . The 55 articles are a mix of management overviews commissioned by i-FM’s Editor Richard Byatt and contributed articles on a wide range of specialist subjects.
Authors include Oliver Jones of Citex on the business challenge; researcher Virginia Gibson on property strategy; innovation by Richard Buckley of Trammell Crow Savills; Phil Roberts on shaping the future of the profession; risk and reward in PFI deals by Evelyn McDowall of Turner & Townsend and designer Kathy Tilney on working environments.
