The Henry Boot group has re-launched its facilities management activity under the name Banner Facilities Management. Henry Boot has been active in maintenance management for over 25 years but is looking to broaden both service provision and client base.

The FM business currently turns over around £4m out of a total of £100m for the management side of Henry Boot. Current clients are largely in the public sector, including the Intervention Board, HM Customs & Excise, Hertfordshire Constabulary and the HSE's Health and Safety Laboratories.

Dave Grundy, General Manager of Banner Facilities Management, says the company is enhancing its help desk technology and anticipates its mobile engineers will be using the internet to access technical information.
