Michaelhouse puts Broadgate Estates on the net

Broadgate Estates, the blue-chip specialist in City of London building and estate management, have linked up to the Internet via a new system supplied by IT systems specialists Michaelhouse. Since the early 1990s, Michaelhouse have been a key supplier of bespoke software in the estates, property and construction arena. The project, worth £25,000, covers consultancy, software, installation and support.

The project went live just before the Christmas period, ahead of time and within budget, and is based at Broadgate Estates head office, Exchange House. The new secure Internet mail, web browsing and centralised application system serves 80 users. Before this project, Broadgate Estates had no Internet access.

Jane Watts, Broadgate's Company Systems Support Manager, comments: "The project has gone very well indeed - internally and externally. We've been associated with Michaelhouse for quite a few years and they've demonstrated expertise and a solid understanding of Broadgate's business concerns."

"This project will protect Broadgate's investment in IT - not just for today but also for the future," said Michaelhouse's Director of Operations.
