ISS, the international contract services provider, has acquired Blue Ribbon, a nationwide provider of cleaning services in the United Kingdom.

Blue Ribbon, established in 1978, has 3,000 employees and a current annualised turnover of approximately £18 million. It provides an extensive range of cleaning and related services, including cleanroom cleaning and grounds maintenance. Its customer base encompasses offices, schools, manufacturing facilities, retail facilities, telecommunication companies and local authority accommodation.
