Facilities management company LCC Support Services has launched a technical services department to deal with specialist electrical and mechanical services.

LCC’s managing director Bob Vincent said: “To compete in the FM marketplace today, clients want a full service. Contract cleaning including window cleaning and a security guard, is not FM. Companies that cannot provide a full service will not expand in the market.”

The new division will provide lift maintenance, electrical repairs and servicing, heating and air conditioning as well as a range of technical services such as site safety assessments. It will also offer cleaning services including carpet and floor cleaning.
