New FM contract for Johnson Controls

Johnson Controls has won a three year FM contract with Infineum UK Ltd, a fuel and lubricants additives company jointly owned by ExxonMobil and Shell. Under the contract, worth £3m over the contract term, Johnson Controls will provide full FM services at the company’s Milton Hill Business and Technology Centre in Oxfordshire.

The services, which are to be supplied at the 280,000 sq m (3m sq ft) site accommodating 300 people, include technical M&E, laboratory stewards, help desk, stores, reprographics and cleaning.

The director of UK business accounts at Johnson Controls, Mark Graveney, commented on the deal: “Infineum forms part of our interest in the petrochemical industry. Strategically it is a key area for us and further builds on our established relationship with ExxonMobil. Partnering with Infineum creates an opportunity to share our expertise and help Infineum exceed its business goals.”

Caroline Stephen, facilities manager at Infineum said: “Johnson Controls has a pool of consultants with experience of working on other client sites similar to our own. They are particularly strong in areas of safety, health and the environment, which are of paramount importance to us and this gives us complete confidence in entrusting our FM management to them.”
