OCS joins European alliance

OCS Group has teamed up with partner companies in France and Germany to offer pan-European business support services, including cleaning and security.

Frank Slater, who sits on the supervisory board for the new venture, says the motivation for OCS has come from clients who are looking for consistency of service across a broader range of locations.

"This is a very exciting prospect," Slater adds. "We're seeing more and more interest in the European market. It's going to be a big growth area."

The partnership, operating under the title Euroliance, brings together OCS with Onet of France and Gegenbauer of Germany. Each is a major player in its own marketplace. Gegenbauer is the smallest, turning over about 200M euros pa. OCS turnover is about 480M euros, with Onet at about 564M.

All three companies are family-owned and will remain independent. They plan to share experience and expertise to provide services across Europe at guaranteed levels of quality.
