Finnish Elisa Communications Group aims to streamline its support services by outsourcing its logistics, functions of the staff restaurants and real estate services by the end of this year.

The company has signed a letter of intent with Finland Post Ltd for logistics services, with Sodexho Oy for its catering and with ISS Suomi Oy for real estate services.

185 people are currently employed within the outsourced functions, and although they will be offered the opportunity to join the contracting companies, the news has lead to walk-outs.
