Things go better for Citex

No sooner does Citex boost its FM team with new appointments (see News story) than it wins a new contract with Coca-Cola.

The two and a half year contract sees Citex take responsibility for a £7m property and FM budget covering Coca-Cola’s Hammersmith headquarters and space in Uxbridge. Citex will manage a wide range of services, including maintenance, cleaning, reception, catering, travel, vehicle fleet and mailroom.

Citex provided project and construction management to Coca Cola when it occupied the Hammersmith HQ and at the Uxbridge site. Operations Director Gary Martin also set up the FM strategy and recruited the in-house team. Since then a change of strategy has led to the current outsourcing deal.

"High profile headquarters such as these at Coca-Cola offer a challenging scope of services and provide an exciting opportunity for our team to exercise their skills in a broad range of management disciplines," said Martin.
