Student health services in US to become more accessible

Two technology providers in the US college health market have announced a strategic agreement that will connect students to their campus health centres via the internet.

Rethink Inc.'s national college health website, www.98six.com, will provide students with direct, real-time access to the administrative, clinical and health promotion functions of their campus health centre. Students will be able to go online using 98six.com to make appointments at the health centre, check lab test results and submit prescription refill requests.

Rethink Inc. and Media Highway are working with college and university health centres to revolutionise the delivery of healthcare on campuses across the US.
College and university health centre staff will also benefit from online ordering of medical supplies, continuing education programs and support of third-party reimbursement functions that will come when Rethink launches its pro98six.com site for campus health professionals in April.
