Select Facilities Services, part of the OCS Group, has been appointed by Woking Borough Council to manage key services in various sites in and around the town centre.

The five-year contract, worth £500,000, started in August last year and since then the maintenance and cleaning work has expanded to include council car parks maintenance and involvement in the refurbishment of civic offices building.

Woking Borough Council was seeking to consolidate principal services and enhance the cost effectiveness of service budgets, and opted for the multi-activity service contract offered by OCS. Select now manages a dedicated package of services provided exclusively by OCS Group companies.

M & E services are provided by TML Ltd and cleaning, for both the Civic offices as well as smaller council premises, by Strand Cleaning Services.
