Contract wins

Rentokil Initial Management Services has won a three year FM contract with Telfer Foods at the company’s Northampton site, to provide catering, cleaning, washroom, security, janitorial and waste management services.

Commenting on the contract, MD Trevor Davies said: “We are looking to make a significant saving on Telfer’s non-core costs, as well as supplying a greatly improved management information system which will provide a detailed breakdown of expense.”

l 7 Day Catering has been awarded a one year contract with Cockenzie Power Station, providing catering for 180 staff and 150 contractors at a site near Edinburgh. Eurest Sutcliffe was previously responsible for the 48-seater staff restaurant at the Scottish Power Station.

l Amec has secured an M&E and fabric maintenance contract with investment bank Nomura, covering five sites as well as the company’s HQ.

Les Ingram, head of premises infrastructure, said: “Amec is well represented in other investment banks in the city. They came out top after an extensive pre-qualification exercise where a number of companies, including the incumbent were invited to tender.”
