  STEPS shortlist

Five consortia have been selected to go forward to the next stage of the Inland Revenue/Customs & Excise property transfer PFI project, STEPS.

Ten consortia completed pre-qualification questionnaires and the finalists include the three groups which made the shortlist for the DSS PRIME project - Mapeley, Servus and Trillium, although some of the constituents have changed. A shortlist of three is expected to be announced by the end of October.

The five are:
Mapeley (Quantum Realty Fund, Fortress Investment Corporation, Bank of America, DTZ Debenham Thorpe, Grubb & Ellis Management Services, Dalkia/Symonds, EC Harris, Delancey Estates;
Servus (Nomura International, Serco, Grosvenor Estates Holdings, London & Regional Properties, Jones Lang LaSalle, Healey & Baker);
Trillium (Whitehall Street Real Estate Limited Partnership, MyChand Central Limited Partnership, Archon Group, Drake & Scull, George S Hall, MITIE, ISS, Sutcliffe Catering);
Newlands (WS Atkins, Innisfree, Gardner Merchant, Balfour Beatty, King Sturge & Co, Argent Group, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, Royal Bank of Scotland, Securicor);
Trinity (CB Hillier Parker, JE Robert, CIBC World Markets, Mace).
