My client is a friendly, well established company committed to providing an excellent service, great value for money and outstanding customer service. Established in 1999, they have grown year on year by providing a professional, quality service at affordable prices. They currently service around 450 customers across Southern England and have 1000 Cleaning Operatives. Despite their fast growth, they still care about every customer and every contract. They pride themselves on their attention to detail and delivery of a thorough, reliable high quality service.  To help drive their continued growth and their commitment to training and development, they have created this exciting new key role OF Training, Health & Safety and Compliance Manager working with their head office support team. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for the developing a training strategy and delivery for all operational staff in addition to ensuring our compliance with Health & Safety legislation, their ISO9001 and standards across the business. A key focus will be the delivery of BICSc level training and assessing of all their Supervisors/Area Managers. Most of this training will take place at their head office (BICSc Training Centre) but there will be the requirement to carry out some assessments at customer locations at the time of clean. The working week is 40 hours per week.

Training, Health & Safety and Compliance Manager Key Responsibilities Include:

• Driving training strategy and delivery

• BICSc training, assessing and associated administration

• Creating and implementing operational toolbox training

• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation

• Health & Safety training and responsibilities

• Assisting our Quality Manager in achieving and maintaining our current ISO9001:2015 accreditation

• Attending regular meetings with the Head of Customer Services and Operations Director at their head office in Wokingham

The ideal Training, Health & Safety and Compliance Manager candidate will:

• Be pro-active, logical and forward thinking

• Be flexible on working times and able to travel across regions

• Have a background in the commercial cleaning industry

• Have self-motivation

• Have excellent communication skills

• Take full responsibility for tasks

• Manage teams in a supportive manner

• Preferably BICSc qualified

• Preferably Health & Safety experience and qualifications (IOSHH etc)

• Have a valid UK driver’s license, satisfactory references and right to work in the UK

Experience in the cleaning sector is essential.

Up to £35,000 per annum, normal business expenses, up to 25 days annual leave (depending on length of service) and a NEST pension scheme.
