FM Tutor
Formerly the BIFM Business and Programme Manager at BPP, Jane Wiggins is now able to provide private tuition to individuals and groups of students for all the BIFM examinations. Jane Wiggins, a Fellow of BIFM, and nominated one of the Top 20 Most Influential Women in FM in 2007, has over 20 years experience in operational and strategic FM in a variety of blue chip organisations and educational establishments. Jane has successfully tutored several hundred students to successfully obtain their BIFM part 1 & 2 examinations since 2004. Using a similar approach to the former course at BPP, the FM Tutor programme is a blended learning package, which is compatible with the busy and demanding roles held by today’s Facilities Manager. Students work at their own pace, using comprehensive materials and supported by regular contact with tutor, Jane.
The programme comprises a 12-month study contract for either Part 1 or Part 2 giving flexibility to start the programme at any time of the year, to suit both personal and work commitments. An in-depth induction workshop ensures students get the most from their materials and tutorial support. The 12-month learning contract can be extended by periods of 6 to 12 months to suit individual learners’ needs. Students can also participate in a buddy system to widen their network, and support each other during their studies. Revision workshops are also included in the programme to give students greater confidence in examination techniques.
