Associate Director, Business Development - Southampton, England

Associate Director Business Development, for the Highways and Streetworks division for a National Consultancy.

Based in Southampton, this role has an attractive salary of between £50000 and £60000 plus benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

Take responsibility for marketing the highways initiatives in the Regions South business to meet set sales targets.
Engage with our cross regional Streetworks initiatives experts/managers to ensure a thorough knowledge is gained of the Consultancy expertise, knowledge and new services.
Engage with our current partners/LAs and to open doors with new clients.
Contribute towards Operations monthly MOB reports on sales targets achieved.
Input to future Business Development Plans/Sales Action Plans
This will specifically include the identification of appropriate market/business development sectors, along with the development of strategies for delivery of target revenues within each of these sectors.
Interface with project delivery teams to ensure smooth transition/handover from initially Winning Work to Project Delivery.
Support to Profit Centre Managers where necessary
Technical support to Bid and Project Delivery teams.
Attendance and feedback/input to monthly Business Development meetings and, where necessary, monthly Management meetings etc.
?Providing timely supporting information to the Associate Director to support the business targets, update reports, board papers and other information required.
Able to work dynamically and adapt to differing market needs and opportunities
Extensive experience of working at a senior level within the private and public sector markets of the highways/streetworks construction industry, preferably as part of a medium to large consultancy practice.
