I have over 28 years' experience of planning, property asset management & development, and facilities management, mostly in the public sector, and have held a number of senior positions with management responsibility for multi-disciplined professional departments. I also have significant project management experience of public sector construction projects.
I am currently a self-employed consultant and interim manager, specialising in strategic property, assets and facilities consultancy services and interim management, particularly focused on the management of development and organisational improvement projects.
My most recent appointment was as Interim Head of Property Services for the London Borough of Barnet. I am a Director and Board member of the British Institute of Facilities Management and took up the position of Chairman in October 2006 for a two-year term.
I hold a degree in Town & Country Planning and am a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI). I am also a Fellow of the British Institute of Facilities Management (FBIFM), a Fellow of the Faculty of Building (FFB) and a Member of the Institute of Directors.
