Lucy Jeynes, MD - Larch Consulting

Following an early career in consultancy, Lucy first came into contact with FM when an FM company formed a joint venture with Crown Agents. Seeing an early opportunity to provide independent facilities advice and consultancy at a strategic level as the sector was emerging, she started Larch in 1995 with Michael Cant. The company is now a leading light in the sector and works with a wide range of well-known organisations on high-level service improvement and restructuring programmes.

Lucy’s specialist areas are change management, organisational development, service improvement and sourcing strategies. In addition to consulting in these fields, she runs training courses, writes articles and works on national policy development.

Lucy sits on the Main Board of BIFM and chairs the Membership Services Committee.

She is passionate about regeneration and social inclusion, and works on a number of capacity-building programmes for smaller firms. She was a member of the national Task Group to develop the DTI Strategy for Women’s Enterprise, and was voted Midlands Businesswoman Of The Year in 2000.
