Fred Guscott, Managing Director - Nice4Work

Fred started his career as a commercial agent in 1976. Eight years later he joined Allied Dunbar as head of property and in 1991 the company promoted him to assistant director.

In 1994 Fred became managing director of Honeywell FM2. He was a founding director of ISG Occupancy, director of Stonemartin and managing director of Eurica Management in 1998. 

From 2001 to 2004 he was chairman of the FM faculty at the RICS, and is now a Board member of RICS Faculties and Forums. 

In 2005, he formed Nice4Work which provides a management service to owners of large underperforming buildings.

A WORD OF ADVICE:

In order to develop a good understanding of an occupier’s requirements it is useful to have been part of an in-house FM team at some stage in your career.

A LITTLE KNOWN FACT:

Fred owns a local music and arts centre close to his home in Chippenham, Wiltshire
